Welcome ...
When we saw the Commission wanted to see our work, it made us smile.
The work is all that matters.
We’ll talk a bit about Phil Dusenberry, the former executive who ran BBDO, one of the largest original “Madison Avenue” ad agencies. Phil was responsible for the iconic Pepsi commercials with Michael Jackson, developing “We bring good things to life,” for General Electric, making VISA “Everywhere you want to be,” and hundreds more during his career. He even co-wrote with Roger Towne the screenplay to the movie “The Natural,” with Robert Redford.
While a talented copywriter and ad executive, we remember Phil for his parting words at BBDO:
The work, the work, the work. This is what the business is all about. This is the fun, the glory, the pleasure. It’s the only true measure of an agency. In the absence of great work, nothing else matters.
